Barrett sang "Moving Too Fast" from THE LAST FIVE YEARS, and "Free" from
FORUM with Todd Buonopane at
Symphony Space. The concert, which also starred Shoshana Bean, Michael Cerveris,
Kevin Chamberlain, Celia Keenan-Bolger, Cheyenne Jackson, Leah Hocking, Todd
Buonopane, Richard Easton, Matthew Modine, Tony Kushner and more, benefited
the youth programs of the New York Civil Liberties Union. Read

JOHN BULL'S OTHER ISLAND Reading July 17, 2006

at Ars Nova. The reading, which also starred Chris Chalk, Alan Cumming, Cheyenne

Barrett was prominently featured in both showings of Broadway Bares 16
at the Roseland Ballroom, performing scenes with Fran Drescher, Alan Cumming,
Mario
Cantone,
and the Jersey Boys. The evening raised a record-breaking $659,500 for Broadway

NEO 2 Concert June 12, 2006
Barrett performed in 2 concerts at the York Theatre Company's NEO2 benefit
concert at the York's home in Saint Peter's
Theatre. He sang a duet with John Tartaglia by actor/songwriter Jeff Blumenkrantz
called "Moving Right Along." It
was the first time John and Barrett ever performed together on the same stage. Read

AIDS Walk NY May 21, 2006
Barrett (along with Rod from AVENUE Q) MC-ed at the Opening Ceremony of the
AIDS Walk NY, introducing such notables as "American Idol" finalist,
Diana DeGarmo (HAIRSPRAY), Richard Thomas (TV's Jon Boy Walton),
married acting couple Richard Schiff ("West Wing") and Sheila Kelley
(S Factor Workout), "Prison Break"'s Frank Grillo, and the current
Miss Universe and Miss USA. (Basically, Rod was in heaven!)
A BEAT AHEAD 5 April 17, 2005
Barrett performed "Is This Any Day To Start A War?" by Ben Morrs
at A BEAT AHEAD 5 where four fresh composers present their work in an informal
cabaret setting.
Jim Caruso's Cast Party March 6, 2006
Barrett performed two duets from CUPID AND PSYCHE: "Easy To Be Me" with
Deborah Lew, and "One Little Arrow" with Jason Robinson at Jim Caruso's
Cast Party. Barrett, Deb, and Jason all went to Interlochen Arts Camp during
their high school years, and were performing to raise awareness for the outstanding
arts camp and school in upstate Michigan.
Monday Night New Voices January 16, 2006
Barrett served as a host of the acclaimed Monday Nights, New Voices series
at the Duplex Cabaret Theatre, which celebrated its first anniversary on
Jan. 16. He introduced his talented, Barrymore-nominated friend, Todd Buonopane. Read
